Sleep With One Eye Open — Cubist Stained-Glass Style Wall Art

Playful, watchful, and just a little dangerous, Sleep With One Eye Open, a stretched matte canvas print, transforms a winking frog into a jewel-toned stained-glass statement piece filled with attitude.

Set against a richly layered backdrop of geometric glass, reflective water, reeds, lily pads, and luminous gold, the frog sits calmly at the center of the composition with one eye open and the other knowingly closed. A restrained Chinese calligraphy panel reinforces the piece’s sly warning, while the red 注意 banner — meaning “caution” or “attention” — adds just the right amount of tension.

Emerald green, teal, crimson, cream, black, and metallic gold create a sophisticated mosaic effect that balances humor with decorative drama. The result feels whimsical without becoming childish, making it equally at home in an eclectic living room, creative studio, office, lounge, entryway, or maximalist interior.

Sleep With One Eye Open is for anyone who appreciates art with beauty, wit, and a little side-eye.
